Our Place, Our Home (G01)

Great property and the hosts are super accommodating and responsive. House does run a bit warm during the 100 days in the summer, but AC catches back up at night

I wish I could rate the home separately from the HOA-managed pool and workout facilities, because the house was excellent while the community amenities were very disappointing.The home was clean, beautifully stocked, and had a great layout for both gathering and privacy. The photos in the listing don’t do it justice. It was even better than we expected! Communication with the host was also excellent, and the house truly felt like a luxury rental.Unfortunately, the pool area and workout room were poorly maintained. Many chairs and tables were broken, cushions were torn, and there was trash (including dirty underwear) left around the area. The splash pad was not working, the pool water was cloudy, and the workout room had limited, damaged equipment (not even a treadmill) with spare parts left in the corners.We chose this home partly because it was across from the pool and splash pad, which was important for the toddlers and babies in our group, and because we wanted access to a workout room. Instead, we had to drive the kids to another splash pad.The home itself was wonderful, but the condition of the HOA amenities significantly affected our stay. I would gladly stay in the house again, but I would not rent in this community again. If you’re just looking for a house and don’t care about access to a pool and workout room, then I can highly recommend this home.

Overall nice place. The slide was a big hit for the grandkids.

The house was well-kept, with lots of bedrooms and plenty of beds for the young cousins to bunk together. The 2-12-year-old crowd was kept busy with the slide (I mean, how cool is that to have a twisty slide inside the house!) and everyone loved the shuffleboard and ping pong tables. The pool was right across the street, which was very convenient! The kitchen was well-equipped and there was plenty of seating for our large group of 40.There were a few communication issues with the host upon check in and about the Internet, and the pool was in a little sorry state (run by the HOA, not this property owner/manager), but overall we loved our week-long stay!Make sure you visit Tuacahn for a show (we saw Nemo, which was super family-friendly), and spend some time at Dixie Springs park which is only 6 minutes away. It had everything to keep us all engaged for hours (pickleball, splash pad, large grassy area, covered pavilion, and 2 awesome playgrounds). Highly recommend!
